These images were not that clear and also colourless.  The resolution kept on improving and photography and film making industry came into power but colourless era moved onto a very long time.

Now we can see a camera in every mobile device and many high resolution digital cameras being used. This era is completely a digital era and is incomplete without photos and videos.
